Tirhani Auctioneers, a well-established leader in the auction industry, seeks to appoint a Field Coordinator to join our team. Under direct supervision of the Fixed Auctions Manager, the Field Coordinator may be required to perform duties as an auction driver, detailer, lot assistant, maintenance role or any other necessary duties identified for this position. The Field Coordinator must know, practice, and ensure that company policies and procedures and health and safety laws are followed at all times. Perform all other reasonable duties that may be assigned by the supervisor or manager. Main tasks include, but are not limited to: Assist with physical inventory / stock take as required. Perform a variety of vehicle cleaning tasks such as (but not limited to) vacuum and shampoo carpets and seats, interior cleaning and detailing, window cleaning, buff or polish the exterior of the vehicle, and any other tasks as assigned to prepare vehicles for auction. Move vehicles to the proper staging areas at the required time for pre-auction viewing, and to designated lot areas for auctioning. Execute the placement and removal of street posters and boards as specified by the Fixed Auctions Manager. Prepare auction sites, including but not limited to site clearance. General housekeeping of wash bay facilities, auction warehouse, and auction sites, and carrying out of maintenance duties as assigned. Assist the Logistics Supervisor in the lotting process of auction items. Execute the strategic layout of auction items, assuring the inventory is in the proper designated areas.Assist with upliftment of auction stock collection and delivery of items. Inherent Requirements of the role: Ability to stand for long periods of time Must be physically able to work in remote locations when required Ability to lift and move heavy objects Exposure to inclement weather conditions Irregular hours / overtime will be required Current Drivers Licence (Code 10 /14 advantageous) Know ledge and Experience Grade 10 or higher Experience in Auctioneering industry would be advantageous Experience operating a forklift is desirable Previous experience with inventory control Essential Competencies Ability to work in a team.
