Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Credit Risk Modelling Business Analyst with a background in financial services and financial services products on a 6 months contract basis. This role requires a strategic thinker with 10 years of experience in analyzing complex business processes, defining problem statements, and delivering practical solutions to meet business objectives. This role focuses on unpacking existing credit risk models and analyzing data sources to ensure effective model performance and compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Data Management: Identify, source, and analyze relevant data required for model deployment Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data utilized in credit risk assessments Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation of current models and data flow, including methodologies, assumptions, and parameterizations Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with quantitative analysts and data scientists to enhance model functionality based on insights gathered from data analysis and feedback from stakeholders Project Management: Plan and oversee project timelines and deliverables related to model unpacking and data analysis initiatives. Model Deployment Analysis: Review and unpack existing, deployed credit risk models to assess their effectiveness of the deployment and identify areas for improvement Regulatory Awareness: Stay informed on relevant credit risk regulations and industry best practices, ensuring models are in compliance with evolving standards As you will be required to hit the ground running extensive experience is essential. The requirements: Qualification: Bachelors degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field; Masters degree preferred Experience: 5 years of experience in credit risk modelling, data analysis, or business analysis, with a focus on model unpacking and data sourcing Strong understanding of credit risk models and frameworks (e.g., PD, LGD, EAD calculations) and experience with model deployment processes Proficient in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SAS, SQL) with a strong aptitude for working with large datasets.
