My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Millwright to join their dynamic Customer Support Team in Johannesburg. This is an exceptional opportunity for an independent and customer-focused professional to provide top-notch service to clients across the region and beyond.
Key Requirements:
Qualified Millwright: Your formal training and certification are essential for this role. (Red Seal)
Experience: At least 3 years in machine building and production machine maintenance, ideally within the liquid packaging industry.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with liquid packaging equipment such as fillers, unscramblers, end-of-line systems, blow molders, and cappers is highly desirable.
Technical Skills: Proficient in electrical and pneumatic fault finding.
People Skills: Excellent communication and customer service orientation are a must.
Independence: Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
Travel Ready: Willingness to travel both nationally and internationally.
Positive Attitude: Self-motivated, reliable, and always with a positive outlook.
Computer Literate: Proficient in MS Office applications and comfortable with technology.
Code B Drivers’ License: Valid driver's license
Key Responsibilities:
Fault Finding & Repairs: Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Installation & Commissioning: Set up and calibrate our machines at client locations.
Maintenance & Support: Provide ongoing maintenance and support to clients.
Equipment Servicing: Rebuild and service equipment, handle breakdowns, and solve problems.
Safety Standards: Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols.
Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service to clients.
Project Management: Coordinate and manage work orders and support jobs for timely completion.
Technical Support: Assist customers, spare part representatives, and engineers.
Training: Conduct customer training and machine assessments.
Quality Control: Ensure all work meets high-quality standards.
Administration: Handle necessary paperwork and documentation.
