SHEQ Systems Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced SHEQ Systems Manager to join our clients' established team. The role is joining a leading construction company, turnover circa 300million, critical role in ensuring compliance across the organisation.
Responsibilities for the SHEQ Systems Manager include:
- Collaborate with the SHEQ Director to improve and implement integrated management systems, support compliance with new and existing SHEQ legislation and standards
- Conduct proactive inspections and audits, provide detailed reports to operational teams, oversee corrective actions, and investigate incidents
- Advise operational management on safe systems of work, ensuring alignment with SHEQ legislative requirements.
- Day to day management of Quality Advisor
The Successful SHEQ Systems Manager will have:
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within construction, civils or similar
- Experienced Auditor with excellent knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 as well as established industry accreditations
- A NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent) ideal but not essential
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present and produce high-quality reports.
A UK driver's licence is essential as this will involve regional travel across sites.
