JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT: Responsible for supervision of team on site and render
support to internal and external customers. Provide assistance to the Operations Manager
in respect of all people management processes and procedures.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):
• Ensure that standard procedures are adhered to on site
• Ensure the guards are at their scheduled post
• Adhere to the airport policies and procedures.
• Ensure discipline of the team
• Statistical reports and information as and when required.
• Record keeping
• Perform such other duties of a similar or related nature as may be assigned by
Management from time to time and any j o b assigned to you by the Operations
Manager
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Grade 12
• Valid AVSEC Level 2 (Supervisor)
• PSIRA Grade B
EXPERIENCE:
• 2 Years working in the Airport
• At least 1 years’ experience in a similar position with a valid driver license
• Knowledge of Airports procedures
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Computer knowledge
• Basic understanding of BCEA and LRA
• The capacity for working with numbers and numerical/mathematical concepts. It
includes aptitudes such as computation, statistical interpretation, facility with
mathematical concepts, arithmetic reasoning, etc.
• The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through
spoken words and sentences.
• The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
