Candidate Requirements:
- Must have a formal chef qualification
- Must have 5 years of previous experience in a 5* lodge environment
- Maintaining a high standard of Kitchen Hygiene
- Ordering, stock-taking and control of the kitchen
- Maintaining and overseeing all kitchen staff
- Staff training and development
- Passion for food and the food experience
- Ability to lead a team of people effectively and to think and act creatively within a team
- The ability to motivate staff to consistently deliver
- Ability to work flexibly and have strong management skills, day-to-day, and long-term
- Well-spoken and presented individual who is able to work under pressure and think on their feet
- Outgoing, friendly, and confident individual
- Creative, professional and team player attitude
Live-in position with a work cycle of 45 days on 15 days off, and 15 annual days leave. Meals, uniform, en suite accommodation, and transport to Hoedspruit for leave days provided.
