Role and Responsibilities
Developing new savoury flavours to expand the product range
Create and match flavours and adapt existing flavours to meet client expectations.
Manage multiple projects to meet deadlines as set out in briefs.
Provide technical support and expertise to the team and other departments including sales.
Education and Experience
BSc degree or diploma in Science or Chemistry.
At least 5 years flavour creation/development experience.
Savoury flavour creation experience.
Formal training in flavour creation will be beneficial.
Experience and understanding of the African market and related categories will be beneficial.
Regulatory knowledge: Foodstuffs, Cosmetic & Disinfectants Act 54 of 1972.
GCMS operation and analysis will be beneficial.
