Job Summary: The Digitalization Officer is a pivotal role that combines the responsibilities of an IT Manager with the added dimension of Project Manager responsibilities to ensure the successful planning, execution, and management of digitalization initiatives across the organization.
Minimum Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in IT management and project management, with a minimum of 5 years in each role.
- Strong understanding of digital technologies, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and cybersecurity best practices.
- Familiarity with industry-specific software and technologies (e.g., ERP systems, CRM software).
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Key Responsibilities: Digital Strategy Development: - Collaborate with senior leadership to develop a comprehensive digitalization strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Identify and evaluate digitalization opportunities and technologies to enhance business processes and competitiveness.
Project Management: - Lead and oversee digitalization projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

IT Department Oversight: - Manage out-sourced IT service provider.
- Ensure the effective operation of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.
Technology Assessment and Implementation: - Evaluate existing technology infrastructure and recommend upgrades or enhancements to support digital initiatives.
- Oversee the selection, procurement, and implementation of digital tools, software, and systems.
