Reports to: Technical Manager
Qualifications and Skills Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
- Grade 12.
- Diploma in Facilities/Maintenance management.
- Trade test.
- 3 5 years Proven Experience as Facilities/Maintenance Manager.
- 5 years practical experience in industrial, facilities management maintenance.
- Computer literate.
- Good customer care skills & Good communication skills.
- Ability to read, analyse and interpret general business professional publications, technical procedures, manuals or statutory regulations.
- Literate must be able to speak, read and write English.
- Must be willing to work shifts.
- Adaptability to different working areas and conditions.
- Must have own accommodation and transport
Responsibilities The successful candidates responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure that attendance is recorded on the ERS system daily.
- Delegate cleaning and maintenance tasks to team members.
- Ensure that Operational areas & systems are operating and ready for service, on time.
- Check quality of hygiene standards on site.
- Ensure Accuracy of orders received and data from stock.
- Comply with health and safety standards.
- Ensure that all HR Processes are managed.
- Ensure effective and detailed communications are done on a daily basis, for the purpose of scheduled & unscheduled maintenance, unforeseen challenges and breakdowns.
- Conduct daily checks and inspections on relieving/standing in for the technical team as scheduled to do so. All inspections have been recorded and required comments have been communicated.
- Perform any other relevant duties as required by the Company.
