We're pleased to be working in partnership with an organisation in Norfolk that is looking to recruit a temporary project manager for an initial 6-month contract, which is likely to be extended. You'll be joining the estates and capital projects team that manage a wide range of projects, ranging from minor repairs to major capital project works. The organisation has a range of projects that the Project Manager needs to work through over the next 6-12 months.
Your new role
As a Project Manager, you'll be supporting the delivery of the 2024 - 2025 capital works programme. The client needs a Project Manager to come in to support a range of projects including a cladding project which is in the very early stages and also fire alarms and fire door programmes. As an example, you will be involved in; the specification, procurement of consultants/contractors etc, business cases, planning, prioritisation. You will then work closely with the contractor to manage the delivery of these projects, ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and ensuring delivery to the required standards on time, budget and cost.
What you'll need to succeed
As a Project Manager, you'll ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent and will have a recognised construction, FM, Project Management Qualification or Chartered Membership of a relevant professional body. Experience of working in a Project Management role in an Estates/FM team and delivering construction, maintenance and compliance projects is essential. You must be able to commit to a temporary contract that will last for a minimum of 6 months.

We're offering an initial 6-month contract working with a friendly and established team in Norfolk. The temporary rate will from £35 per hour (Umbrella) with the likelihood of this being extended and with the potential for this to convert into a permanent position.
