Hays are working with a growing Manufacturing business based in Telford who are looking for an Office Manager on a permanent basis. This is an exciting role due to growth.
Your new role
As an Office Manager your role will involve:
Monitor and evaluate practice performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and management systems.Prepare regular reports on practice performance & operational metrics.Identify opportunities to increase practice profitability, optimise revenue streams, and control costs.Manufacturing output and deliveryDrive shift performance and improve shiftsLeading improvements, development, and investmentsEnsuring quality and right first timeCommunicate with customers on all production queries.Member of the Senior leadership team reporting into the Director and General ManagerDevelop and implement operational policies, procedures, and protocols to optimise practice efficiency.Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive prices while ensuring quality standards.
What you'll need to succeed In order to be considered for this role you will need experience in the following:
Experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment.Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.Excellent communication skillsConfident team player and leaderAble to drive output across the business to achieve targets and objectives.
