As an Operations Assistant based in Ayr you’ll be responsible for:
Carrying out general warehouse tasks, including booking in stock, putting stock away into designated locations and maintaining high standards within the warehouse.
Picking and packing customer orders with accuracy and efficiency.
Assisting customers at the trade counter when needed, providing prompt and efficient service while building strong relationships.
Operating a forklift, preparing order, and organising stock.
This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 8am – 5pm
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
Prior experience in a warehouse environment, with forklift experience preferred.
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn, including the completion of necessary training (forklift licence training will be provided).
Confidence when engaging with customers and delivering outstanding customer service
A driving licence is preferred to support occasional delivery driving duties in a 3.5T van.
