A leading manufacturer and premier FMCG brand is looking for aFinancial Manager to join their finance team inGeorge, Western Cape .
The Financial Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of the business, ensuring effective financial management, analysis, and reporting to support business growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing variance analysis and financial insights to management
- Manage cash flow, debt, and capital expenditure to optimize financial health.
- Monitor and control costs and expenses, ensuring alignment with budgets
- Maintain the fixed asset register including depreciation, re-estimates, reconciliations, additions and disposals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for product development and process improvements.
Qualifications and Experience
- QualifiedCA(SA) orCGMA designation is required.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in an Accountant role or similar, with a preference for experience in a commercial/product focused environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS
- High attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and excellence.
Salary
- R600 000 - R960 000 CTC per annum. Highly dependent on candidate experience and qualifications.
