Key Responsibilities:
As a Chief Engineer at Express Employment Professionals (Witbank), you will be responsible for leading our team of engineers in ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop. This includes managing a team of skilled mechanics, overseeing the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Must have a red seal qualification in Diesel mechanics.
- 5 years plus experience as a workshop manager.
- Extensive knowledge of earthmoving equipment, including Bell equipment and Chinese brand equipment.
- Hydraulic systems knowledge.
- Basic knowledge of auto electrics.
- Knowledge of mine safety and equipment lockout procedures.
- Must have buying knowledge on equipment parts.
