About the Division:
The Merchandise Process Optimisation team is a pivotal part of TFG's commitment to innovation and excellence. Within this team, the Analytics division is instrumental in crafting the algorithms and solutions that power our merchandise systems and initiatives. We focus on data analytics and data science initiatives that streamline operations, optimize inventory distribution, and advance strategic initiatives that drive our overarching business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement advanced analytics and data science solutions to optimize merchandise processes and systems
- Analyze data trends to support allocations, stock management, and other retail analytics needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute data-driven strategies for merchandise optimization
- Contribute to the enhancement of ML Ops processes and agile methodology practices
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to drive innovation within TFG
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Data Science, Operations Research, Statistics, or related analytical field
- A minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in data analytics or data science, preferably within the retail sector, demonstrating a track record of delivering impactful data-driven insights and solutions
- Experience in supply chain or merchandise analytics is highly desirable
- Familiarity with ML Ops and agile methodologies is advantageous
Skills:
- Expertise in SQL and Python programming
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Proficient in predictive modeling techniques, with the ability to develop and apply models for forecasting and trend analysis
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights
- Proficiency in data modeling, analysis, and visualization
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
