Service Advisor
Fast growing motor vehicle brand looking for a Service Advisor to join their growing team.
Duties:
- Customer Interaction: Greeting customers, scheduling service appointments, and effectively communicating with them throughout the service process. Providing information about services, pricing, and timelines in a clear and professional manner.
- Service Consultation: Conducting thorough consultations with customers to understand their vehicle's maintenance or repair needs. Listening attentively to customer concerns and accurately documenting service requests.
- Vehicle Inspection: Performing visual inspections and diagnostic checks on vehicles to identify any maintenance or repair requirements. Consulting with technicians to determine the necessary services and provide accurate estimates to customers.
- Service Recommendations: Recommending appropriate maintenance services or repairs based on vehicle inspections, manufacturer guidelines, and customer concerns. Explaining the benefits and importance of recommended services to customers.
- Parts and Inventory Management: Ordering necessary parts and materials for vehicle repairs and ensuring availability for scheduled service appointments. Maintaining accurate records of parts inventory and usage.
- Work Order Management: Creating and managing work orders for service appointments, ensuring all necessary information and instructions are communicated to technicians. Tracking the progress of service jobs and updating customers as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Performing quality checks on completed service work to ensure it meets industry standards and customer expectations. Addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Customer Satisfaction: Following up with customers after service appointments to ensure satisfaction and address any additional needs or concerns. Soliciting feedback to identify areas for improvement and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Technical Knowledge: Staying informed about vehicle makes and models, maintenance procedures, and industry trends to provide accurate information and advice to customers.
- Administrative Tasks: Performing various administrative duties, such as maintaining customer records, processing service invoices, and documenting service histories accurately.
Requirements:
- Reside on the West Rand of Gauteng
- Experience in a similar role
- Combination of customer service skills
- Automotive knowledge
- Technical aptitude
- Organizational abilities to effectively manage service operations
- Customer Satisfaction
