Introduction
The Executive Legal Collections & Recoveries will be responsible to design, formulate and implement the Legal Collections & Recoveries operational and strategic design to achieve the company’s overall strategy. Ensure business growth through the achievement of agreed performance targets.
Duties & Responsibilities
Main Purpose of the role
- Executive oversight (operational fulfilment) over preferred legal entity service providers MBD Incorporated and MVR Incorporated (the Legal Collections & Recoveries teams). Stipulated financial targets for the Legal Collections & Recoveries business.
- An optimised legal process that delivers defined litigation milestones within an acceptable return (cost and time).
- Primary collection and recovery key performance metrics across a balanced scorecard encompassing people, process, financial and stakeholder metrics.
- Alignment with strategic design and intent with the Executive: Principal & RTC: Portfolio Management.
- Joint business objectives in tandem with Risk, Client Support, Information Technology and Capsol Account Management System across agreed, defined service levels.
- Custodian of an automated litigation workflow solution that optimises production outcomes.
- Ability to articulate and oversee a reputation risk policy framework that ensures adherence to regulatory and statutory standards as well as group compliance thresholds.
- Consummate stakeholder manager (internal and external) capable of collaboration and alignment.
- Optimisation of the Legal Collections & Recoveries eco-system to support Principal, RTC and Agency strategic and tactical objectives.
- Custodian and promotion of a workflow solution capable of supporting our client value proposition in terms of new business origination.
- Inspirational leader capable of overseeing a large, professional team.
- Ability to optimise the Legal Collections & Recoveries operational productivity outputs to support strategic and tactical intent.

Desired Experience & Qualification
- Post graduate degree in Commerce, Economics or Law plus a Business Leadership / Management qualification.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience of which 7 must have been in the legal collections industry and 5 were at executive management level in similar business environment.
