Duties:
- Support in the preparation and examination of consolidated Group accounts for each reporting cycle, presenting findings to the Executive Committee (EXCO) and the Board.
- Oversee the assessment of financial reports from subsidiaries.
- Provide guidance on technical matters and the drafting of technical documentation.
- Facilitate consolidation pack training for financial managers.
- Create and assess consolidated Group financial statements.
- Coordinate with external audit firms.
- Ensure prompt and effective resolution of issues to elevate client service.
- Supervise client query procedures, ensuring accurate tracking and resolution.
- Foster relationships with clients and stakeholders. Actively engage in and encourage change initiatives.
- Drive innovation by proposing, sharing, and implementing new concepts.
- Identify strategies to optimize cost efficiency and operational productivity.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- Matric
- BCom Accounting
- CTA
- CA(SA)
Experience:
- Completed articles at a Big 4 audit firm.
- 1-2 years post-article experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of robust experience in IFRS reporting.
- Proficiency in reporting and consolidations at a Group level is mandatory.
- Previous engagement with EXCO and senior stakeholders is strongly preferred.
