Key Responsibilities Would Include: - Develop and execute the companys financial strategy to support business objectives and growth plans.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to ensure accuracy and alignment with business goals.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the leadership team, ensuring financial sustainability and compliance with local and international regulations.
- Lead and manage the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure robust financial controls, risk management, and compliance frameworks are in place and adhered to.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize resources and achieve organizational goals.
- Drive initiatives to enhance financial efficiency and leverage technology for improved financial processes.
Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Masters Degree or MBA is a plus).
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance in Kenya.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in financial systems and tools.
- Results-driven, analytical, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
