Candidate requirements;
- Microsoft Office inclusive of MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint - advanced Excel knowledge is critical.
- Pastel / ACCPAC / Sage or similar accounting software packages.
- Knowledge of CRM & Hospitality Reservations / PMS systems.
- would be greatly beneficial.
- Must have Grade 12.
- Must have 2-3 years experience in the Hospitality Industry.
- Must have 3 years minimum experience in financial accounting & management accounting.
- Tertiary education would be advantageous
- Solid interpersonal skills.
- Valid RSA ID.
- Must be dynamic and a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
Candidate responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting with financial administration tasks, such as processing tax payments, preparing financial statements, and overseeing client accounts when required.
- Basic bookkeeping requirements as support for the finance team.
- Provide administrative support to the CEO and other senior management team members, such as booking travel and accommodation, filing expenses, and formatting documents.
- Maintaining records and documents for Special Projects &
- Reporting as required by the CEO.
- Preparing or assisting in preparing financial or administrative reports.
- Compilation & management of sales, marketing & financial information databases & reports as & when required by the CEO.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of information intelligence over all aspects of the business.
Salary:
- Salary is negotiable within reason & dependent on experience and qualifications
- 5% Provident forms part of the CTC package (compulsory membership)
- Medical aid for individuals only, restricted to Classic Saver or below option on Discovery forms part of CTC package (voluntary membership)
