Job Description - Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals
- Design and sell customised travel itineraries that meet individual travel preferences, budgets and needs
- Provide expert advice on both Domestic and International travel destinations, including visas and Travel Insurance
- Maximize sales opportunities through up-selling, cross selling, and promoting our preferred partners
- Excel in Sales and have experience with reaching and exceeding Targets - preferably within the Travel Industry
- Maintain accurate records and client details using our own operational systems
- Manage customer complaints in an efficient and professional manner
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends
Qualifications - Strong sales and customer service skills
- A minimum of 4 years in a Travel consultant sales focused role
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- The ability to work well under pressure whilst adhering to tight deadlines
- Experience in an GDS reservations system – Sabre or Amadeus
- Good knowledge of popular travel destinations - local and International
- The ability to work weekends and public holidays (rostered) when needed
- Ability to train a Jnr Staff member
Additional Information Tour Operator’s primary responsibility is to exceed all expectations of all Internal and External Guests. Facilitating an excellent guest experience in the outlet by ensuring exceptional products and services at all times.
