**Mobile Funeral Arranger**
£24,609 (£12.62 per hour) plus benefits
Full time 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
Mobile role covering approx. 8 funeral homes in Springburn and North Glasgow -
May also occasionally be required to offer cover for branches in other areas
of Glasgow

**What you’ll do**
• as a certified mobile funeral arranger, you’ll provide expert guidance and
advice to help clients plan the perfect service and support with family visits
• travel to meet clients and build relationships across your community
• support with manual handling of coffins and the deceased
**This role would suit people who have**
• a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• a passion for delivering great service and building relationships plus would
feel comfortable working on their own; both travelling to client meetings, and
holding fort within branches where necessary
• excellent communication and admin skills plus strong attention to detail to
make sure regulatory policies and processes are always adhered to
• high levels of empathy, discretion and care

As part of your application you’ll need to complete an online assessment. It
will take you around 20 minutes to complete this test.
If you’re successful in your application, we’ll perform some background checks
as part of our pre-employment screening process. These will include a DBS
(disclosure and barring service) and adverse media checks, and an occupational
health questionnaire (to ensure you are fit to perform the role). We’ll also
check your social media activity on platforms like Facebook, Twitter and
Instagram.
In this role you’ll work under FCA regulation – we’ll provide you with all the
training you need to become a ‘certified colleague’.
To make sure you’re eligible to advise clients on ‘pre-need’ funeral plans as
a ‘certified colleague’, we’ll perform FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) and
financial integrity checks. These aim to identify financial sanctions such as
CCJs (county court judgements) or bankruptcy. Your credit score will not be
checked as part of this process.
