Your duties will include the following :
- Learn and adapt to all relevant hotel and restaurant company standard procedures.
· Greet residential guests by name when serving them.
- Meet and greet customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Learn and understand food principles so that you can explain them to guests
· Become familiar with and present menu and provide detailed information when asked.
- Become familiar with and present wine list and provide detailed information on wines and other drinks when asked.
· Set up of tables as per design standards.
· Take food and drink orders promptly and correctly and input into the POS system.
· Ensure all bills are accurate in any billing process.
· Communicate effecitively with the kitchen regarding any orders, requests or issues.
· Keep restaurant and related areas clean and neat at all times.
· To undertake any other ad-hoc duties (bar, day spa, Forum and pool service) relevant to the post, as and when required.
· Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements as set out by the company.
· Provide excellent and friendly customer service at all times.
. Be polite and friendly to all guests at all times and answer guest requests promptly.
- Play a role in ensuring a high standard of team work exists at all times through assistance to management and colleagues whenever required.
