Accounts Assistant
Fixed Term Contract 3 - 6 months

Contract Type: 3-6 month Fixed Term
Pay: 13ph - 15ph Dependent on experience
We are currently recruiting an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our clients team on a 3-6 month fixed term contract. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting their financial operations and ensuring accuracy in their accounting processes, focussing on client and supplier invoicing, customer billing and month end. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in accounting and a passion for detail-oriented work.
Key Responsibilities: (this list is not exhaustive)
- Processing all Supplier and Client invoicing
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist with payroll processing and maintain employee records
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks
- Complete ad-hoc duties to support the finance department as needed
Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, PeopleSoft, Xero, Sage, or Workday
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Knowledge of financial services and basic accounting principles
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
