Night Manager required for our client, a hotel, located in the Eastbourne area. Live in is available if required.
For this opportunity of NIGHT MANAGER, you will have had previous night s experience or similar hotel supervisory night or day reception experience. Your role will report to the Front of House Manager, leading a Night Team of three.
Responsibilities for the role of Night Manager:
- Welcoming late arriving guests and escorting them to their rooms
- Assisting guests with luggage
- Providing advice on hotel facilities as well as local places of interest
- Valet parking cars
- Preparing snacks and serving food and drinks
- To ensure the hotel is safe and secure for guests and staff by completing regular security patrols and fire checks
- Completing rotas, appraisals, team training and assisting with recruitment where required
- Please note this is a night time role working various hours between 11pm and 7.30am, 40 per week, including weekends, over five days
Requirements for the role of Night Manager includes:
- Clean, valid UK driving licence
- Possess a welcoming personality to make the hotel an experience to remember, whilst retaining the ability to be assertive when required
- Previous experience within a hotel environment essential.
- Previous nights experience preferred
- Have excellent English language skills, verbal and written
- Be physically able, as some heavy lifting is required
The salary for the role of Night Manager is given as £27,365 plus a share of the service charge iro £1,200 / per annum (the service charge varies). Other company benefits available / Live in is available with this role.
