Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines for trucks, buses, and heavy-duty vehicles.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative checks to ensure vehicle reliability.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
- Adhere to workshop health and safety standards.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualifications: Certified Diesel Mechanic or equivalent technical qualification.
- Experience: Minimum 35 years of hands-on experience with diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles.
- Solid understanding of hydraulics, electrical components, and diesel engine systems
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
- Advantageous: Code 14 drivers license.
- Attention to detail, strong problem- solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
