Strategic IT Partner Management oversees managing the relationships to our strategic suppliers. This includes Professional Service Providers, Hardware, Software and Cloud Service Providers for the Deutsche Börse Group. As a software license specialist, you will be responsible for control compliance towards our current contracts and license agreements. You will act as an interface between the different product areas, IT governance, and other central functions to manage the end-to-end software license management process. - You accompany the group-wide Software License Management process regarding license management topics and help key stakeholders to adapt their own activities to the process requirements.
- Act as a license management subject matter specialist for the company process stakeholders.
- Deliver license management services relevant to today's changing technology landscape and market demands.
- Review current software licensing terms and conditions, license agreements and contracts to identify any breaches and/or any potential risks.
- Apply knowledge of licensing rules and use rights, analyse, document, and present licensing modelling recommendations.
- Liaise with service management, and process stakeholders to define, optimise, and develop license management standards, processes, procedures, plans and controls to ensure appropriate service asset information is recorded, maintained, and reported on.
- Academic degree in information technology, economics, business administration or similar degree in a relevant field of expertise.
- Experience in a software asset management/ license management role.
- Utilise SAM technologies and their capabilities including Snow's License Manager, Flexera's FlexNet Manager Suite (FNMS) and/or USU's SmartTrack.
- Interpret data outputs from the SAM technologies and other tools to provide accurate and timely reporting.
- Strong analytical skills, structured working methods and safe handling of license management topics, including detailed planning.
- Independent way of working and a high sense of end-to-end responsibility in task delivery and result orientation.
- Experience in process management as well as in dealing with internal and external audit exercises.
- Customer-oriented and solution-driven working methods.
- Excellent knowledge of English in speaking and writing.
