Person will be responsible for 2 sites plus branches QUALITY Implement SHEQ system requirements on all sites and continuously oversee/audit all sites. Enforce sub-contractor SHEQ compliance. Continuously review company compliance to legislation and assist in updating the SHEQ Management system to accommodate these changes. Communicate SHEQ requirements and changes in legislation to Management. Ensure SHEQ document and data control systems and archives are maintained. Promote SHEQ Awareness organise and assist in required training. Monitor audit findings - recommend and drive corrective and preventative actions. Conduct and facilitate risk assessments. Plan and implement internal audits schedules for the organization. Liaison with HR Dept. for initiating and coordinating training plan and updating information for personal, audit requirements. Update and implement SHEQ Annual plan. Issue and administrate non-conformances where required. Ensure that NCRs are recorded and closed out to drive continuous improvement. Perform Job evaluations and safety reviews for update of SOPs. SHEQ cost analysis to be done on a monthly basis and report to Management SAFETY, HEALTH & ENVIRONMENT Effectively manage and ensure full compliance to the SHEQ Management System. Ensure all sites comply with full Health & Safety Management System. Schedule and ensure that SHEQ meetings are held, recorded and documented Conduct incident / accident investigations when required. Assess and evaluate PPE requirements and provide when necessary. Must ensure that unsafe practices are identified and eliminated. Ensure all accidents are recorded, investigated and closed out in accordance with the SHEQ Management System requirements. Drive adherence to Quality of work at execution through proper procedures/practices. Maintain an acceptable working environment, as accustomed to ISO 1400:2015 guidelines. Report to the company on all SHE related aspects on a monthly basis SECURITY AND CLEANING Liaise with external Security department to ensure that they follow adhere to company safety protocols and compliance with PSIRA legislation. Ensure that Hygiene or cleaning department follow prescribed schedules, including Covid19 Matric certificate or equivalent Relevant SHEQ courses (e.g., SAMTRAC/SHEMTRAC, HIRA, OHSAct 85 OF 1993) (preference). ISO 9001/45001/14001 requirement training advantageous 5-10 years experience in SHEQ environment, two of which must be in a leadership role Must be assertive with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must be self-driven, deadline orientated with the ability to work in a high-pressure environment (multi-tasking) Attention to detail Internal and External Reporting to stakeholders Previous experience in implementation and management of SHEQ Management Systems advantageous Drive effective Accident / incident investigation and recording SHEQ internal and/or external auditing Excellent working knowledge of MS Office Knowledge of SYSPRO or similar system advantageous Capable to conduct training and facilitation of programs
