Job Overview Responsible for implementing and managing comprehensive safety protocols in the chrome plant environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement safety management systems. Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments. Investigate and report workplace incidents. Ensure compliance with safety regulations. Train staff on safety procedures. Maintain safety documentation and records. Recommend safety improvements. Reporting Structure Reports to: Plant Operations Manager. Interfaces with: Department Heads, HR, Compliance Teams. Performance Metrics Incident reduction rates. Safety compliance scores. Staff safety training completion. Regulatory audit performance. Qualifications Required: Grade 12. Safety Management Diploma/Degree or Equivalent. COMSOC 1 & 2 Certification. NOSA Certification. Valid Driver's License. Experience Required: Plant Safety Officer Experience (5-10 years). Preferred: Chrome Plant Environment Safety Officer Experience (2-5 years). Skills and Competencies Advanced safety management knowledge. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
