We are looking for a team of Catering Assistants to work throughout Birmingham from September 2024. You will need to have experience of working in a school, or similarenvironmentt, and certain compliance will need to be met.
Duties:
To supervise and serve food to children and staff with a range of dietary requirements and nutritional needs.
To assist with the preparation of refreshments for school events.
To assist in ensuring that the kitchen area is kept clean and to a high standard.
To wash all lunchtime equipment every day, using the school's dishwasher.
To comply with all policies, guidelines, legislation and procedures which aim to safeguard children and the school community.
Qualifications:
Experience or knowledge of working in a school kitchen environment.
Able to use kitchen equipment safely and and maintain a hygienic environment
An Enhanced DBS certificate which is on the Update Service (if you don't have one this is something we may be able to help you with).
