Ensure team members are trained in and adhere to all standard operating procedures and Health and Safety standards. This is a factory space, that is a 3rd party manufacturer producing products for high-end retail outlets. Based in Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.
Requirements:
- Matric with Industrial Engineering qualification OR Production Management qualification
- Fully bilingual in both Afrikaans and English
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a team
- Strong administration skills with an eye for detail
- Highly organised
Duties :
Duties will be discussed in detail during the screening interview.
- Planning - daily, monthly production planning.
- Daily meetings with the Production Team ensuring up to date knowledge of Daily and Monthly Plan and Progress of all jobs in the factory
- Resolving of all queries, concerns or questions daily
- Ensure that all the necessary staff are available to carry out the work plan
- Ensure that the correct number of staff are trained on production machinery and equipment
- Ensure that all machines and equipment used in the filing and packing process are in good order and are cleaned and sanitized correctly
- Follow Line Opening Procedure and Quality controls
- Meet daily deadlines
- Ensure positive and consistent discipline in the team
- Motivate staff to continuously improve
- Ensure that all team members are aware of and have access to company policies
- Ensure that staff are trained on relevant standard operating procedures and Work instructions for their role on the production line
- Ensure adherence to SOPs: Work instructions and Protocols related to the Production Line
- Train staff on the applicable Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures of the company and Production Line
- Ensure adherence to the applicable Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures of the company and Production Line
- Ensure that all Job Document Packets are Delivered to Finance
