Position Summary: The
Audit Supervisor will lead audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring high standards of service delivery and compliance. The ideal candidate has extensive auditing experience, strong leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. While a CA qualification is not required, we seek someone who understands auditing fundamentals and can motivate and guide junior team members to meet client and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities: - Supervise audit engagements, overseeing teams through each phase from planning to report finalization.
- Review audit work to ensure compliance with company policies, audit standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with clients to gather relevant information, understand their operations, and address audit needs.
- Prepare and review audit findings, ensuring accuracy and presenting clear insights to clients and senior management.
- Identify areas of risk and improvement in client processes, making recommendations to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Provide coaching and guidance to junior auditors, fostering growth and professional development within the team.
- Ensure all audit documentation is complete, accurate, and in line with quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field .
- 3+ years of experience in auditing , preferably within a professional audit or accounting firm.
- Solid knowledge of audit processes, procedures, and best practices .
- Proficiency with audit software (e.g., CaseWare) and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well with clients and team members.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
