REQUIREMENTS - Grade 12 or NQF 4 Certificate.
- At least 2 years' experience as a Payroll Administrator working with a large payroll volume
- SAGE VIP payroll system experience
- Payroll Certificate and / or accounting exposure is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel).
- Accurate data entry skills with great attention to detail and dedication to quality.
- Strong numeracy skills.
- Ability to maintain data integrity and strong reporting skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage all aspects of payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner.
- Good teamwork skills and ability to work independently where required.
- Ability to tackle challenges from different perspectives to problem solve. / Problem Solving Skills.
- Sound understanding of human resources and labour rules and regulations.
DUTIES - Collaboration with HR department ensuring all relevant payroll processing is loaded accurately
- Processing Team Members and Managers payrolls within the required deadlines\
- Ensure supporting documentation and approval is in place.
- Verify & process of new employees (onboarding)
- Update existing employee information
- Process all once-off changes
- Prepare monthly payroll
- Completing UIF forms - UI-19, Certificate of Service, UI-19, Salary Schedule, and Maternity documents
- Efficient record keeping and filing.
- Resolving queries and ensuring ongoing compliance.
- Provide support to management to finalise reconciliations for monthly submission.
- Assist management with generating payroll reports or with payroll information as needed.
- Assist with payroll related tax and financial year end procedures.
- General administrative support and any other ad hoc duties relating to the administration of the payroll.
Salary: R25k negotiable dependent on experience
