My client is looking for a proactive Dispatch Manager to lead and optimize distribution efforts across various branches in the Inland Region. This role is focused on strategic distribution planning, fleet management, courier partner relationships, and ensuring high customer satisfaction by aligning closely with the sales team. The ideal candidate will manage a large vehicle fleet, ensuring safe, cost-efficient, and reliable operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute distribution strategies to support sales objectives.
- Oversee fleet scheduling, routing, and maintenance to maximize efficiency.
- Manage relationships with courier partners for optimal service and cost-effectiveness.
- Partner with sales to align distribution with customer needs and improve service quality.
- Monitor and control costs within budget parameters, implementing cost-saving measures.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or similar.
- 5+ years of experience in fleet or distribution management.
- Strong leadership, operational, and financial management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with logistics software.
