Duties & Responsibilities
Are you a seasoned financial professional with a passion for leading and driving financial excellence? A leading player in the industry is seeking an experienced Group Financial Manager to join their dynamic team. Our clients reach extends internationally, providing exposure to diverse markets and opportunities.
As the Group Financial Manager, you will be a pivotal part of the leadership team, responsible for steering the financial strategies, optimizing performance, and ensuring fiscal accountability across operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Duties: - Assist the CFO to ensure sound financial management and controls are in place and continuously improved.
- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and budgets for the Chief Financial Officer to support the financial decision-making process.
- Generate quarterly reports for the Board and Audit & Risk Committee meetings.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with IFRS.
- Digitise various Excel and labour-intensive reporting and forecast modeling tools and support the Company’s digitization journey.
- Be responsible for IFRS and other control improvement projects.
- Monitor and oversee the consolidated credit control function, people leader role.
- Ensure compliance with the policies and procedures.
- Provide financial support as required by other functions in the organisation including business strategic initiatives.
- Review capital investments including IRR calculations.
- Assist with the ad hoc requirements of the Chief Financial Officer.
- Prepare consolidated financial accounts, establish accounting policies/procedures, and ensure compliance of subsidiaries and/or divisions and group credit control.
Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: - Matric (Grade 12)
- BCom Accounting
- BCom Honours / CTA
- CA(SA)
Experience: - Minimum 5 years post qualification experience in a financial management role
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a managerial or leadership role
- Manufacturing exposure is a BIG WIN
