Business Development Manager

Duties & Responsibilities
- Drive the growth of our portfolio within the Eastern Cape through targeted marketing and sales initiatives.
- Optimize the profitability of existing products by implementing effective sales strategies.
- Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders to drive business expansion.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to develop compelling proposals and secure orders with partners.
- Maintain transparent and consistent communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment and meet business objectives.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Demonstrated experience in business development within financial services, telecoms, insurance, or a similar service industry.
- Proven ability to work effectively with SMEs or similar clientele.
- Proficiency in marketing and pitching Group Life, Group Funeral, Group Medical Insurance, and related products to corporate clients.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage seamlessly with business owners and executive teams.
- Strong numerical aptitude and exceptional communication skills are essential.
- Preference given to candidates with insurance qualifications such as FAIS - RE1/RE5.
- Willingness to travel and relocate as needed.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, target-driven environment.
Compensation
- Competitive basic salary of R25,000 per month.
