Desired experience and qualifications:
B Com Accounting or equivalent.
Articles or minimum 3 years in a full accounting role.
Proven track record in Financial Analysis, Reporting and Control.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
Proficient in financial modelling and analysis tools, as well as financial management software.
Xero and WFM experience.
Responsibilities will include:
Process bank accounts and reconciliations on a monthly basis.
Compilation of monthly management accounts.
Compiling of monthly financial records through Xero.
Follow up of invoices received from suppliers and ensure timely accounting and payment.
Income Tax and Provisional Tax Calculations.
Liaising with the auditors for the yearly audit preparation.
Monthly VAT calculations and reconciliations.
Preparation and accounting of invoices as per the budget and agreements provided by project managers.
