We are seeking an experienced IT Change Manager with a strong background in ITIL Change Management processes to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will hold a National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, ITIL Foundation Certification, or Practitioner Level Certification, and have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. You will be responsible for ensuring that all IT changes are managed efficiently, reducing risk, and minimizing disruption to business operations, if you have a passion for change management and are skilled in implementing best practices within an IT environment, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to lead and drive effective change within the organization.
Duties responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee the IT Change Management process, ensuring adherence to ITIL standards.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate all change activities across IT services and systems.
- Ensure proper risk assessments and impact analysis are conducted for proposed changes.
- Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and ensure all changes are reviewed and approved.
- Collaborate with IT teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure seamless implementation of changes.
- Track and report on the effectiveness of the change management process, including identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure changes are documented and comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Minimize service disruptions and incidents caused by poorly managed changes.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience :
- National Diploma / Degree in Information Technology or related field.
- ITIL Foundation Certification or ITIL Practitioner Level Certification.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT Change Management.
- Relevant Change Management ITIL certification and proven experience in managing IT changes.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and change control processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of ITIL Change Management principles and methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple changes in a fast-paced IT environment.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risk and impact effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at various levels.
