Qwili is a young, fast-growing company based in Cape Town that is in the process of expanding its team as it scales rapidly and enters a new phase of growth. The Operations Associate will form part of the company’s operations team and work mostly on the physical goods business, an integral part of Qwili's growth plans.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Complete the order fulfillment process under the supervision of the physical goods department team lead.
- Consolidate orders and coordinate sourcing and warehousing of inventory.
- Ensure timely and accurate dispatching of orders across distribution channels.
- Ensure that queries are resolved timeously.
- Coordinate a team of delivery drivers.
- Ensure that all inventory management tools are up to date.
- Manage the relationship between Qwili and its growing base of collection point operators.
- Participate in physical goods sales growth planning and execution.
- Work with other business units to ensure a high quality of service for Qwili’s users.
Experience and Key Competencies
- Post-Matric certificate in supply chain, logistics, marketing, business or related fields required. Three-year tertiary qualification preferred.
- Minimum of three years' operations experience.
- Driver's license required. Own car preferred.
- E-commerce industry experience a plus.
- Target oriented.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills. Creative approach to day-to-day challenges.
