What kind of work will you be doing?
- Ensure that all actions are taken in accordance with company rules, ethics & safety guidance, and local labour law regulations.
- Be a “go to” person for all HR related matters for South African and Kenya based employees.
- Be an ambassador of Vertiv’s values and a role model.
- Manage Global HR Projects at Southeast Africa level with the support of HR Manager MEA.
- Provide operational support to managers and employees on all HR matters including but not limited to: Performance Management, Performance Improvement Plan, Managing Sales Incentive Plan, ER, Grievance, Disciplinary, Talent Development and Succession Planning, Skills Gap Analysis, Payroll Management, Visa (when applicable), Employee Engagement with local South African Labour Law.
- Coordinate the implementation of all Global and Regional HR Projects (HCM implementation).
- Drive the implementation or completion of Compensation & Benefits projects.
- Facilitate internal communication initiatives (with employees, local management).
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvements of Vertiv standards, policies, and procedures.
- Provide Coaching to regional leader and local managers to support them in the development of their own leadership and managerial skills, team development, change management.
What Would Be the Perfect Qualifications?
- Degree in Human Resources / Business Psychology.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in HR Generalist / HR Advisor / HR Executive role.
- Oracle suite knowledge advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills – Excel and PowerPoint essential.
- Attention to detail.
