• Min. 5 years of project management experience on solar projects.
• Experience in rooftop, ground-mount, carport, and wheeling DG projects.
• Experience in Low & Medium Voltage POC projects, with project sizes up to 50 to 70 MWp.
• Experience in hybrid solutions with BESS would be appreciated.
• Graduate from a premier university with a degree in engineering and/or electrical engineering; a graduate degree and/or related professional qualifications are considered a plus.
• Experience with maintaining minimum functional specifications, commissioning checklists, and standard operating practices for rooftop solar projects.
• Working experience of the RSA context in electrical norms, renewable energy regulations, and construction codes is required.
• Knowledge of project management best practices, engineering, and solar-specific software such as MS Project, AutoCAD, PVSyst, Meteonorm, SolarGIS, Helioscope, and Sketchup.

HSE:
• Strict adherence and compliance with Group QHSSE policy (including MAESTRO) with high quality of QHSSE performance, complying with affiliate’s QHSSE Policy, Procedures & specific rules & regulations applicable to the area of activity at all times.
• Participate in the training program to acquire QHSSE knowledge and impart this training to colleagues as required by Management.
• Report near misses, incidents, hazards & injuries to the line Manager within the required timeframe.
• Participate in the investigation and analysis of incidents as required.
• Analyze EPCs and contractors' offers in terms of quality, HSE, and cost.
• Prepare and launch RFPs to contractors for awarded projects.
• Shortlist and negotiate with contractors for awarded projects.
• Prepare and update engineering tools and templates.
• Coordinate with the design team to prepare and follow up on local approvals and regulatory obligations.
• Liaise with HQ technical services for technical specifications use and continuous improvement.
• As a Project Manager, the following activities will be performed:
• Manage multiple project executions from EPC contract negotiation to handover, focusing on safety, security, quality, budget, planning, and documentation management.
• Support and follow up with the permitting and engineering team on local approvals and regulatory obligations.
• Support & follow up with suppliers, including EPCs and engineering consultants, ensuring compliance with HSE, Quality, and specifications.
• Ensure strict adherence to project design and material selection as per contractual requirements.
• Ensure construction quality & safety through regular visits and reports.
• Manage project construction with a focus on safety, quality, budget, and planning.
• Coordinate with contractors (EPC) and equipment suppliers for project construction.
• Ensure proper project commissioning and testing as per contractual requirements and industry best practices.
• Hand over projects to both O&M Team and Client in line with set contractual objectives.
• Ensure documentation management meets company requirements.
• Build strong relationships with clients after proper handover from the sales/development team.
• Technical Sales Support:
• Conduct feasibility studies, preliminary solar designs, CAPEX/OPEX estimation, and solar plant performance simulations.
• Assess site characteristics, constraints, and analyze customer consumption demands during the prospection phase.
• Prepare technical offers and present them to potential clients, supporting the sales team in negotiations.
• Prepare internal CITS Dossiers and investment committee presentations.
• Provide technical support and contribute to around 30MW awarded per year.
