PERMIT COORDINATOR
Stage Zero is seeking a dedicated Permit Coordinator to join our Commercial Engineering team. The Permit Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that all necessary permits are obtained, tracked, and managed efficiently to support project timelines and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and experience working with both internal and external stakeholders.
POSITION LOCATION:
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:
- Minimum of Grade 12 (Matric).
- A diploma or degree in a related field such as Engineering, Environmental Science, or Project Management would be advantageous but is not required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a permit coordination or compliance role is preferred, but candidates with relevant skills and the ability to learn quickly will be considered.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to permits, health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
- Project management experience, particularly in managing permit-related documentation and processes, would be advantageous.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure all required permits are obtained and filed within project timelines.
- Track and manage permit applications, renewals, and approvals to ensure compliance.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all permit-related documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering, legal, and compliance teams to ensure all projects meet regulatory requirements.
- Act as the point of contact for queries related to permit statuses and escalate issues when necessary.
- Support the preparation of reports related to permit management and regulatory compliance.
