Unit description
Grid Field Operations is executing Field Operations, Maintenance and (Baseload) Projects. We ensure the integrity and safety of our assets entrusted to us, while also ensuring their maximum availability. We make sure that the onshore grids of TenneT is reliable in Germany and the Netherlands.
We, the business unit
Grid Field Operations Offshore (GFO-O) operate and maintain all Offshore grid connection systems and interconnectors in the North Sea. At Grid Field Operations Offshore we need to secure the supply of today and tomorrow in order to contribute to a successful European energy transition. This also needs a regular reflection on our performance and the continuous development of our business activities. In your role as Advisor you are contributing to enabling the GFO-O-1GW community to do so and directly report to the 1GW Head. He and his team are responsible for managing the 1GW Execution Areas which form an integral part of GFO-O.

- You support the 1GW Head and his extended Team in a variety of tasks aimed at managing and developing the 1GW Execution Areas
- You actively support the strategic development of 1GW by coordinating and monitoring the implementation of projects / initiatives
- You work as the communication focal point for adjacent departments which work with us on projects and you are responsible for the centralized communication of the 1GW Management Team
- Creation and workflow management of decision proposals to enable informed decision making at management level is part of your task
- You organize and coordinate team workshops whilst at the same time taking on tasks such as workshop documentation and processing the results for later distribution
- You support in the development and maintenance of internal documentation and processes whilst at the same time maintaining the team SharePoint
- You hold a bachelor or master's degree in energy engineering, business administration or comparable
- You have the ability to think strategically, see the big picture, work proactively on tasks both in a team and independently and you don't lose sight of the overall goal
- You show courage in speaking up and giving feedback on all levels
- Commitment, competent appearance as well as confidentiality are second nature to you
- Fluent in English and German verbally and in writing
- You are result oriented, structured, diligent, pro-active and have high quality standards
- You preferably have experience in the energy sector
