Intro: As an IT Technician, you will be the first point of contact for technical support, responsible for managing networked computers, hardware, LAN, low-level server support, software, and printer environments. You will troubleshoot and resolve IT issues, ensuring seamless operations for our users. Key Responsibilities: Provide first-line support for networked computers and manage related hardware. Handle LAN and low-level server support. Offer software support for various applications and systems. Maintain and manage the printer environment. Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues as they arise. Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users. Skills & Experience Requirements: Matric A Certification N Certification Minimum of 1-2 years of working experience in a similar IT environment. Working knowledge of networks and network topologies. Hands-on experience and a willingness to learn. Proven ability to solve problems effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 packages. Ability to work independently and follow established procedures. Must have own transport and a valid drivers license. Experience with remote monitoring tools and remote support tools. Knowledge of VOIP systems is advantageous. Experience with hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience with network security and firewalls is a plus.
