Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a HCPC reg. *Psychologist* to work within a specialist deaf adults service in Northeast *Manchester* who have an overall *CQC *rating of *“Good.”*
*Role snapshot**:*
The candidate appointed will be working with *adult* service users who are *deaf* and have complex communication needs. The post holder will conduct diagnostic, cognitive and risk assessments and deliver psychological treatment which will include 121 and group based therapy. Interventions used includes *CBT*, *DBT* and *EMDR* therapy.
*Contract type* – permanent
*Hours* – full time, subject to applications, part time will be considered.
*Salary* - up to £62,500 FTE
*Experience required:*
Clinical, Counselling and Forensic Psychologists applying will have experience working with complex mental health and an interest in working with deaf adults. *HCPC* registration is required.
