Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a HCPC reg. *Psychologist* to work within a specialist medium secure service in *North Yorkshire.*
*Role snapshot:*
The candidate appointed will be joining a well-established MDT offering leadership, consultation, assessments and therapeutic interventions for adult service users across medium secure wards. The post holder will help evolve this service into a *trauma informed *approach to care and treatment.
Interventions include *CBT, DBT, CAT Therapy, EMDR *and *compassion-focussed therapy *which will be delivered on a 121 or group basis. The post holder will have an opportunity to work with a variety of presentations including ASD, learning disabilities and personality disorders.
*Contract type* – permanent
*Hours* – both part time and full time is being considered
*Salary* - £58,250 - £68,250 FTE
*Experience required:*
Due to the seniority of this role, Psychologists applying will have *HCPC* registration as a Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychologist along with post experience working within secure services.
