Qualifications to Succeed: - Bachelors Degree in Actuarial Science or a related field.
- Nearly or newly qualified Actuary, with progress in completing normative skills toward Fellowship.
- Around 5 years of experience in actuarial valuations and/or reporting.
- SQL.
Duties and Responsibilities: - Valuation Leadership: Consolidate, review, and analyze actuarial valuation results under IFRS, SAM, and Embedded Value bases.
- Accuracy and Reasonability: Ensure liability and embedded value calculations align with parameters and provide actionable insights.
- Profit Analysis: Assist management in understanding the drivers of performance and business profitability.
- Problem Solving: Resolve valuation issues in collaboration with business units.
- Process Enhancement: Identify and implement improvements to optimize valuation workflows.
- Product Stewardship: Take ownership of assigned products, ensuring compliance and alignment with statutory expectations.
- Data Insights: Support periodic experience investigations, sensitivity testing, and generate impactful recommendations.
- Timely Delivery: Maintain compliance with group standards and reporting deadlines.
