Experience:
- Min 5 years of hands-on and recent experience with references from previous employment
Qualifications:
- Matric or Grade 12 + N3
- Petrol and diesel mechanic certificate or equivalent
Requirements:
- Valid drivers license (code 10 OR 14)
- Medically fit
- Speak and understand English
- No criminal records
- No addictions (drugs or alcohol)
- Own transport to and from work
- Safe work habits and history
- Ability to perform tasks independently without direct supervision
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Mechanical fault finding and repair on vehicles, mobile cranes, trailers, and hysters
- Perform regular services, maintenance, and repair work
- Work on hydraulic systems, transmissions, and engines, maintaining electrical systems and checking diffs as well as hysters
- Conduct inspections on machinery and vehicles to detect signs of possible deterioration or upcoming issues
- Repair defective or non-functional equipment to a working state
- Onsite and offsite hyster, truck, and vehicle repairs and maintenance
- Able to read and write, fill in detailed job cards
- Have pride and look after equipment
- Disciplined and dedicated to the job
- Keeping detailed records of all vehicles and trucks serviced
- Strictly follow the inspection protocol checklist

- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Education:
- High School (matric) (Preferred)
Experience:
