They are seeking a qualified professional with a background in the building and maintenance of packaging machinery. The successful candidate will bring experience, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to excellence.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Fitter or Fitter & Turner certification (Red Seal).
- At least 7 years of experience in building, testing, debugging, installing, and commissioning packaging machines, with a preference for experience with liquid packaging machines.
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to also work autonomously.
- Flexibility to work overtime and travel both domestically and internationally as needed.
- Knowledge of electrical and pneumatic fault finding, as well as tig welding of stainless steel is highly beneficial.
- Valid driver's license (Code B).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble packaging machines in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Conduct setup, fault finding, and testing of machinery.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of machines at customer sites until complete customer satisfaction is achieved.
- Provide fault finding, maintenance, and after-sales customer support.
- Ensure quality inspections of all manufactured machines.
