Key Responsibilities
- Administration and Support of Recruiting and Contracting of New STi Agents:
• Liaise between SFA Recruitment Officers and Uyanda Development Managers to assist in coordinating Sangro activities and processes.
• Support the Development Managers with setting up, coordinating, and scheduling recruitment activities and appointments with prospective STi Advisors.
• Check/follow-up on the completeness and correctness of the different contracts for newly appointed STi Advisors.
• Co-ordinate and facilitate with DRPA and Santam for the timely capturing and issuing of the various codes for new Advisors.
• Liaise and co-ordinate with the placement area (i.e.: BlueStar) to facilitate the smooth transfer of the new Advisor to the area. - Administration and Support of Vesting, Training, and Development of New STi Agents:
• Understand and be able to answer administrative/support queries for the STi Advisors on the vesting plan and supervision contract.
• Co-ordinate arrangements and appointments for Development Managers to do field visits to the advisors within the field for vesting and supervision.
• Update Advisor files and keep a record of all Development Managers' findings and feedback after field visits.
• Liaise and work closely with the different training providers (Santam and Sanlam Academy) to co-ordinate the different training workshops. - Monthly Payroll Processing:
• At month-end, work with Finance, Capital Software, and DRPA to ensure that the correct remuneration is paid to STi Advisors. - Sales Support:
• Dealing with escalated client queries (e.g. claims and reimbursements).
• Assist with arranging training interventions on a business unit level.
• Weekly communication on production dashboards.
• Escalate and support policy queries on behalf of the advisers and the Development Managers.
What will make you successful in this role?
Qualifications & Experience:
• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Relevant STI qualifications (Fit and proper requirements).
• Minimum of 3 years in a broker servicing environment.
• Knowledge and understanding of the Santam Tied Agency (STA) role in Sanlam advantageous.
Business/Management:
• Basic Financial Services Industry Knowledge.
• Basic Financial Services Product Knowledge (Short Term) (Personal and commercial lines).
• Relevant Short Term Insurance qualifications: RE; Accreditation Category 1.2 and 1.6.
• STi administration and processes knowledge.
• Relevant regulatory legislation and compliance knowledge (short term insurance specific).
